Sometimes, a business will initiate an idea for a new partnership. This was the case with Sylvan Learning Center, which has offered special scholarships over the last several years. In 2001, a new kind of Sylvan Learning Center college prep scholarship was first presented to an incoming Take Stock Scholar to help prepare the student to do well in college. This has become an ongoing program.

The Special Area Partnerships also include events State of the Schools Breakfast, plus our School Bucks® program and Books and Bats Summer Reading Program in Partnership with Miracle Baseball.
