Business Partners

The Business Partners Program works to create partnerships between the business and education community to enhance and enrich the curriculum and encourage quality education in individual public schools. Now more than ever, Lee County's public schools can benefit from our community's resources. Wtih the commitment and involvement of the entire community, our students will develop the skills, self-confidence and motivation that will give them more opportunities to excel.

As a component of the Business Partners program, your business or organization can become part of an exciting and rewarding relationship. It can "adopt" a school by pledging to provide it with time, talents and/or resources for one school year. A school actually needs a number of Business Partners providing help in individual areas. No one business or organization is ever expected to meet all of a school's special needs.

From the largest company to the smallest business or organization, all are eligible to become Business Partners.

Some Business Partners choose to adopt a school that is in the same neighborhood area where their business is located. Others select a school because their children or grandchildren attend there, or because it has a curriculum related to their specific business.

Each Fall the Foundation hosts its annual Partners in Education Appreciation Breakfast to thank 1,500 plus businesses and organizations that partner with the schools.
