Another easy way for individuals to invest in Lee County’s public schools is by purchasing a “Support Education” license plate. It tells the community that you support the students and teachers in our public schools. Each time a Lee County resident purchases or renews a “Support Education” license plate, $20.00 is donated to Foundation. In Lee County, the entire donation supports the Mini-Grants for Teachers Program and related teacher initiatives.

How You Can Help
When you renew your license plates annually during your birthday month, inquire about purchasing a "Florida Support Education" plate. They are available at the Lee County Tax Collector's Office, 2480 Thompson Street in downtown Fort Myers, and at all branches. You need not wait until your renewal month to obtain your License for Learning plate.
